…and they’re multiplying.
And not just because I’m sitting here wearing everything I own.
(Seriously, I look like a pom-pom right now.)
I have chills because I am thrilled.
Because I am doing what thrills me.
And that’s what I want for you, too, and I’m worried it’s more fog than thrill.
We’re not like other people, you and I.
We’re not following the well-trodden path, doing what we’re supposed to do, wearing what we’re supposed to wear, and saying what we’re supposed to say.
We’re rolling down the hill of life, glancing at the map, then marching off in directions unknown.
That’s what we do.
We have ideas, we have a story to tell, and they burn their way out of us until we have no choice but to throw our hands up and work on them.
You know what I mean, don’t you?
You couldn’t go back to working for someone else. Not now. Not now you’ve had a taste of life on your own terms.
And nor could I.
But are you living your biggest life?
Are you doing the things that scare you?
Are you looking challenges in the face, taking them by the collar, and screeching “bring it on motherfucker!”
Or are you hiding away?
I get it. I’ve hidden away before, and everything turned to shit when I did.
It wasn’t until I drew a line in the snow and said, “This is where I start” that I got excited.
Now this is what the inside of my head looks like:
A bit foggy, but the sun’s coming through and it’s beautiful.
Are you thrilled by your business and by what you’re doing? Excited at your core?
Because if you’re not, something’s wrong somewhere. Something’s broken, and I’d like to help you unbreak it.
From talking to my Superheroes, my clients, and myself, that lack of thrill usually comes from a lack of clarity.
Not being able to reconcile who you are with what you’re doing – and why.
If that sounds like you, and you’d like to fix it, a good place to start is my daily emails.
