Have you ever used a salad spinner?


Then you’ve never lived. A while ago, I’d finally had enough: soggy lettuce was ruining my lunches.

So I bought a salad spinner from Amazon. It’s great. It’s a virulently bright green lid, with a big basket for all the lovely washed lettuce from my raised vegetable beds.

You need a salad spinner in your life.

But that’s not really why I’m writing to you today.

I’m writing because I was astonished by what happened after I bought it.

The vendors sent me an email congratulating me on my new salad spinner and pointing out a few of the funky features.

Then a couple of days later, they sent me another to check I’d actually received it and everything was okay.

They sold me something, then carried on giving me love.

Because they understand something very important about sales: where the easiest money comes from.
